Smartpet Conference
Pearson-Longman held a conference at ZS Lupacova and was attended by many teachers from a variety of schools. The conference was a convention that advertised the many kinds of books available to use for teaching the English language.
During this conference there were also a variety of classes that presented different ways to assist and help with teaching as well as different teaching methods that could be used.
Milan Hausner and Matthew Moistner presented to the teachers the Smartpet project and explained how it worked with regards to teaching the English language. They also explained many of the positives from this project and how it was successful as well as some of the negatives and how these could be changed to ensure success. Many teachers were interested in how the project worked, what was learned from the project and how future topics could be implemented in the future within the Smartpet project.
The participants had a chance to look at some of the materials that were produced by the children from the Smartpet project and enquired into some of the aims of the project and if it was overall a successful project for teaching the English language.
The teachers enjoyed very much not only the chance to look at the new material that was available from Pearson-Longman but also to hear about the Smartpet project and to discuss together it's success for children who have a high level of English.
