The trip taken by the students from year IX was a congratulatory trip into Prague for working hard and putting up good results throughout the year with regards to the English language.

Through the normal school year 2009/2010, Matthew Moistner played a variety of English language games that culminated in money being put into a kitty for an end of the year trip into Prague. The money was put in from the teacher and from the students for a variety of games and events that happened throughout the year.

On the day, 10th June, we set off from school into Prague in the morning where we visited Wenceslas Square and the area of the National Museum. After this we went into the old town and Matthew Moistner discussed some of the history of the city centre of Prague in English on a type of walking tour about the city.

We then went to an outdoor restaurant where we had lunch just off of Wenscelas Square before heading back to the school. The trip lasted approx 4 hours and was an enjoyable day out for the students who had worked hard throughout the school year and put in an amazing amount of effort into learning the English language.
